Results of the Free SLOW Swim Race at Bountiful Lake
This afternoon we had 15 swimmers come to participate in a free open water race at Bountiful Lake! The course we swam was the Josh Green Loop, which is 0.7 miles, starting in the water near the boat ramp, going around the two islands, and finishing back at the boat ramp.
A new men's record was set by Joe Linford with a time of 16:28.33! Joe now holds the traveling trophy until someone beats his time. Sarah Jones' women's record still stands from last year at 17:55.83.
We also held a contest to see who could guess closest to their finish time. Our own Gordon Gridley came within about 1 second of his estimated time!

Thanks to everyone who came out to swim with us! Thank you also to Kelley Green at Elevated Racing for timing the swim for us.
We had so much fun, we are planning to do it again when the water cools back down, possibly in October.
